National Taipei University Library
Shaped like the curves of turning pages, this library creates an open field where knowledge flows freely and people, architecture, and environment interconnect.
Entering this library, my eyes were not searching for books — they were searching for light. The arched roof redistributes natural light, creating soft gradations of brightness across the floors and walls. The architecture itself is a collection of leading lines, constantly drawing the eye deeper into the space, making each step forward feel like a new frame opening up. I chose to photograph during the quietest hours. The curves, the openings, the transitions between materials — in the stillness, they revealed their true character. The occasional figure passing through gave the architecture a human scale, turning geometry from mere design into a spatial language that could be read.
