Daily Commute

This image transforms a daily commute into a quiet inner monologue within the city.

Every day on my way to work, I pass through this escalator—a space of transition that leads not only forward, but inward. I isolate a single figure, removing the usual crowds, to reflect how public spaces are often filled with private inner worlds. By reducing visual noise and emphasizing clean lines and contrast, the image becomes a psychological passageway—quiet, detached, and weighted with unspoken thoughts. It does not document a commute, but an inner monologue that accompanies daily movement.
